Vicenza (filles-de-paris) is an appropriation project that splices images of Italian villas with 1960's French amateur model photography.

Importantly both subjects are left intact, appropriated but not destroyed, an addition rather then subtraction, yet forever, irretrievably juxtaposed.

The project is concerned with ideas of the intimate made public. By posting risqué domestic scenes on facades, the exterior, rather then a closed foreboding edifice, becomes a canvas and framework for display.
